Field Of Meat
A downloadable FieldOfMeat for Windows
Story:
It had been raining for hours, and a thick fog covered the streets. The internet had been down all evening, so I decided to take a walk. On my way home, I noticed a small garage sale in front of an old house. There wasn't much left—just a few old pieces of junk and a couple of video games. Behind the table sat a strange, slightly unsettling man. I figured I'd see if he had a game worth buying. The game you bought is so simple yet strange—who made it, and why?
About the Game:
You play as Jake, a 20-year-old who spends most of his free time playing video games.
Over the years, you've lost almost everyone close to you. The only people left in your life are a few loyal friends, and you're planning to invite them over to celebrate your birthday.
One rainy night, after the internet suddenly goes down, you decide to go for a walk. Thick fog blankets the empty streets, making the city feel strangely lifeless. As you wander through the darkness, you come across a mysterious garage sale run by an unsettling stranger. Among the old junk is a single video game. For reasons you don't understand, the man offers it to you for almost nothing. The deal feels far too good to be true. As you walk home with the game in your hands, an uneasy feeling begins to grow... As if someone is watching you.

Minus that heavy static filter, which didn't hurt my eyes, but it made it really difficult to see stuff, but I liked the idea of the experience and I didn't expect that ending! That shocked me. With that mini game, maybe allow an option to tone down the fog a little, as with the static there, again, made it hard to see and I kept getting stuck on the trees or rocks. It was entertaining and brutal.
But other than that, very nice job! Moral of story, don't let someone sell you a free game and say "It's rubbish.."
I recorded your game for my 3 Random Horrors! Your game is at 00:10
I'm sorry...I could not finish the game cause the static effect was k*lling my eyes. Maybe it would be nice to add an option to disable it :)
really good
I’ll be playing this game on my stream later today
im working on a 3 random horror games video for my channel, and yours gonna be the first one...
About the game, my thought is...
That foggy minigame was kinda unecessary tbh, but the jumpscare after it tho... geez... got me. Cool game. Gz
